Bailiffs raid Ager-Hanssen in Stockholm

Swedish newspaper Expressen have reported that our diminutive conman, Christen Ager-Hanssen, has been raided in Sweden. Police and bailiffs were seen entering a hotel Ager-Hanssen had been staying at in Stockholm, where he had fled to following a police raid on his home in Norway, and left an hour later carrying bags and boxes of seized items, including watches and diamonds. Ager-Hanssen pleaded with them not to take them, as (much like him) they were fake.

We understand bailiffs were tipped off as to Ager-Hanssen’s location after his wife Caroline was stopped at the airport after arriving from Monaco and gave his hotel as her address. She is wanted by Swedish bailiffs for €3million.

Bailiffs visited the hotel a number of times eventually cornering Ager-Hanssen in the penthouse.

Ager Hansen married Caroline after taking over and losing her case, they were then forced to go on the run. Luckily for Caroline, running away is the one thing Ager-Hanssen is good at!

Ager-Hanssen has clearly been promising her for years that his next scam will pay off, and has probably been burning through her funds wining and dining his next marks, much like he did with Martin Wennberg, who ended up receiving a prison sentence after Ager-Hanssen ‘advised’ him in his divorce.

Ager-Hanssen also conned Zhanna Shamalova out of £1 million to advise her on her divorce, before running off with the money and instructing her lawyers to do no further work on the case.

One of the journalists who worked on the Expressen article tweeted that “Christen Ager-Hanssen has no money and is living off relatives and friends.” Although with Caroline skipping town again for the South of France, his pocket money may be cut entirely until he can prove to her her loot is safe.

The latest raid on Ager-Hanssen suggests the law is finally catching up with him. He previously escaped justice, while his cronies Staffan Edh and Björn Olegård both were sentenced to six months imprisonment for fraud. With more that 50 laptops and phones being decoded by Norwegian and Swedish law enforcement, some of his UK gang members look set to be caught out and suffer a to familiar fate in the London legal system next year, where their tall tales don’t match with what actually written at the time.

Given his track record of abandoning lackeys to face the music by themselves, it looks like it’s set to be another classic case of Ager-Hanssen master manipulation.
