A while back, my partner was unfortunate enough to have a meeting with Christen Ager-Hanssen at his London office, with a view to him potentially investing in their startup.

Ager-Hanssen kept them waiting for hours without explanation and when he did turn up, they said he was the rudest and most obnoxious person they had ever had the displeasure of meeting. Not only did he scream and try to intimidate them, he also suggested he would prevent them from leaving.

I discovered afterwards from speaking to others he had dealt with that it is a common tactic of his in order to ensure companies and their founders become beholden to him alone. I also learned disturbing facts about his methodology.

I will write more about the experience and what we have subsequently uncovered in the coming weeks and months, but the purpose of this site is to detail Ager-Hanssen’s cruel and potentially illegal tactics, in order to forewarn anybody who is invited to do business with him what they are letting themselves in for.
