Over the last few days we’ve had more tip-off’s about this than anything we’ve ever written about regarding the organisation which has thrown its weight behind Ager-Hanssen’s fake whistleblowing claim, WhistleBlowersUK, and its owner, Georgina Halford-Hall. We have seen evidence that shows the highly controversial organisation charges clients £100 per hour for their help and only agrees to represent individuals in return for a cut of any settlement money they receive.
Several weeks ago, the organisation began tweeting that they had been working over the bank holiday on Ager-Hanssen’s case. They have also been quoted in the fake news outlet Ager-Hanssen is paying to launder his reputation, What The Finance, in a coordinated manipulation campaign to paint Ager-Hanssen’s criminality as legitimate whistleblowing.
They have even been tweeting out absolutely deliberate fake news, such as claiming Ager-Hanssen actually won his case against nChain. They are deliberately conflating the COPA v Wright case with nChain’s against Ager-Hanssen, the former of which states in the judgment he categorically did not have anything to do with the decision to find against Wright.
But who are the organisation, and why is their support for Ager-Hanssen so odd? Well, firstly, contrary to what it seems on the surface, WhistleBlowersUK is not a whistleblowing charity – it is a private limited company run by controversial figure Georgina Halford-Hall who had a spectacular falling out with the original organisation WhistleBlowers UK [with a space] and seemingly hijacked the brand name, re-launching under a slightly different name WhistleBlowersUK [without a space]- the sort of way scammers create phishing campaigns…
We have in our possession the contract WhistleBlowersUK sends to its clients, revealing they charge £100 per hour for the work on their cases, and if the case is successful, WhistleBlowersUK will receive 5% of the winnings.
You can download the full contract here:
This contract is likely illegal and a breach of section 4 of the Compensation Act 2006 which states that people cannot offer such services in return for money unless they are authorised claim management agents, which WBUK is not.
WBUK were chastised about this in a court ruling from the judge in the Banjeree case, who said: “Before the costs application was heard I raised with the parties that I was concerned to establish whether the invoice from Whistleblowers UK covered regulated services as listed in regulation 4 of the Compensation (Regulated Claims Management Services) Order 2006, made under the Compensation Act 2006, which created offences, as if so, it did not appear at first sight that Whistleblowers UK, a company limited by guarantee, was registered as a charity or was a regulated claims manager, and it might be necessary to consider their status when deciding whether it was lawful or contrary to public policy to order payment of their costs.”
We have previously exposed Ager-Hanssen’s other ‘pay-for-play’ outlet, ‘WhatTheFinance’, for publishing Ager-Hanssen’s tripe without question [and thank you to all of those who reached out about WTF over the weekend, I promise when we have the time we’ll sift through all the information you sent and write an update!].
Legitimate journalists, such as those at DN media who recently interviewed Ager-Hanssen at his Norwegian hideout, have prefaced his bullshit with phrases such as “claims to be a whistleblower” “he claims” etc…
It seems Ager-Hanssen can only find support in organisations he promises to pay. Having fallen out of favour with the Tory Party top brass after the Guardian and the Times exposed his plot to harvest their membership data via his non-GRPR compliant scam marketing app, it does seem however, that his donation still buys him a bit of sway with minor-league Tories like Halford-Hall and her husband, who are prominent figures in the Wells Conservative Association.
Ager-Hanssen probably found a kindred spirit in Georgina Halford-Hall, who was herself arrested in 2014 for stealing data. The Crown Prosecution Service eventually dropped the case against her, but she was accused of sidelining genuine whistleblowers in order to maximise her own publicity. The MP Sir Norman Lamb was forced to resign from the All Party Parliamentary Group on Whistleblowing over the scandal, as he had publicly supported her and pressured the CPS to drop the charges.
In his resignation letter, Lamb states Georgina Halford-Hall had refused to answer his questions about the organisations financing structure. Lamb scathingly wrote in his letter: “I recognise that you were distressed and upset by the request for information regarding finance. I do believe fundementally in transparency and being accountable to members of the public who ask questions. I recognise it’s difficult for you.”
Halford-Hall obviously was uncomfortable disclosing her backers are large US vulture funds, which are lobbying to change UK whistleblowing policy into the US-style ‘ambulance chasing’ business. [You can read more about this here.]
A witness statement compiled for Parliament states: “This whole behaviour pattern upheld by the evidence shows that WBUK have deliberately placed the interests of WBUK and Georgina Halford-Hall in obtaining publicity, above the interests of the true whistle-blower’s who they should have been helping, and by falsely claiming that Georgina Halford-Hall was the whistle-blower…”
The witness statement of Eileen Chubb, a genuine advocate for whistleblowers and founder of the original WhistleBlowers UK, makes for interesting reading. Chubb claims Halford-Hall and WBUK neglect genuine whistleblowers in order to cherry-pick cases with monetary value and that contrary to their public-facing facade of wanting to help whistleblowers, they are in fact motivated by profit. Six witness statements were attached to Chubb’s report, all of which from genuine whistleblowers who had criticised Georgina Halford-Hall and WhistleBlowersUK conduct.
According to one, Daphne Havercroft, claims she terminated her agreement with WhistleBloswesUK citing Georgina Halford-Hall’s “toxic behaviour” and “extreme defensiveness when asked to cite any cases where WBUK had genuinely helped a whistleblower to achieve a satisfactory outcome.”
Barbara Totham, who had contacted Halford-Hall in relation to allegedly inappropriate behaviour between children at a school in Kent, claims: “she asked me what I expected the end result to be if this was ‘taken on’. I said that all I had ever wanted was for all the students at the school to be safe, well protected and looked after… which I assumed would have been hers too. She quickly ended the call with ‘well, we do have charges you know, we don’t do this for nothing as we have costs to cover’ She then emailed me forms to complete in early June 2019, which I did not complete as it made me feel very uneasy and that was the last I ever heard from her!”

Unbelievably, Georgina Halford-Hall has also been exposed for running troll accounts, targeting genuine whistleblowers who have called her out online:
We wonder if she has made Ager-Hanssen pay her money on account, as she is unlikely to see any cash otherwise, he’s constantly fighting off bankruptcy and is also facing creditors hunting him across the Continent on multiple fronts.
Our little website is built to protect individuals who are targeted by Ager-Hanssen to further his own agenda. Halford-Hall can’t say she hasn’t been warned, as we tweeted her directly alerting her to the deliberate falsehoods in the claims she has been pushing. If she hasn’t spotted the glaringly obvious lies in his narrative and timeline, including a long history of claiming to be a whistleblower when he clearly was not, then it must be deliberate…
However, she does seem to have a history of being blinkered: she gave an interview with the Russia Today podcast in 2023. The network was banned in the UK in 2022, with the regulator stating: “RT is not fit and proper to hold a license in the UK.” following its coverage of the war in Ukraine.
Georgina Halford-Hall has somehow miraculously managed to keep her cushy lobbying gig going this long, despite a long and controversial history. Could aiding and abetting this blatant conman be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?… I know a lot of those who reached out to us hope so!
